The Council of Zoological Society of Nigeria during her meeting of June 8, 2018 established five categories of award that will be given during the award night, which will take place on October 18, 2018 in commemoration of University of Ibadan (UI) at 70.

 

The five categories are:

A. Excellence in Zoology (EIZ) for senior retired Zoologists

B. Fellow, Zoological Society of Nigeria (FZSN)

C. Merit Award in Zoology (MAZ) for young Zoologists

D. Excellence Award in academics and business to non-Zoologists that have contributed significantly to Zoology

E. Posthumous award

 

The Council assessed and selected awardees for the different categories from a long list of nominations from members of the society.

 

Members of society are urged to attend this award ceremony.
